Vergil DMC 5 Redesign
As a massive fan of DMC, I love Vergil’s design from DMC 5 but I wanted to see if I could make something by pushing some of the motifs that I felt like DMC 5 didn’t push such as the V motif and the musical conductor influence. The design for the back of the coat is a reference to his mother’s amulet as well as a reference to the Qliphoth fruit that Urizen eats in the final act of the game. The lines on the pants and the arm and body of coat are a way to stick with the V motif as well as a good what to indicate which face of the arm or leg is facing the camera.
Vampire Survivor Queen Sigma
Queen Sigma is only character that has a full design in detail from Vampire Survivor. However the pose is not the same from the game which I thought was an amazing, dynamic pose, so I drew Queen Sigma in her in game pose.
